At the Thatched Cottage our cuisine endeavours to extract hidden, often stunning, natural flavours the earth produces --

in a manner that will sustain and support our local resources and growers.

In formulating our menu we draw on a wide variety of international cuisines and prepare those selections with local ingredients of the highest available freshness and quality

to meet the gastronomic tastes and traditions of our community.

Our inspiration owes much to the emerging Slow Food Movement that contrary to hurried pace of Fast Food

aims to recapture more leisurely and agreeable ways of offering and taking repasts.  

Hence, we have adopted “Earth Flavours”

as suitable motto for showing our ethos, appreciation and respect regarding our environment,

suppliers and meeting the wishes of our clientele.
